What to include in your request
Instead of “make a total”, write something like “add C2:C100 for rows where A2:A100 says Delivered”, naming the condition column and the result column. Made-up values are fine; you do not need real customer or transaction data.
What formulas does it handle?
Everyday functions such as SUMIF, COUNTIF, IF, IFERROR, VLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH on cell ranges. Formulas that read other files or web addresses, macros, named ranges and references to other sheets are not supported in this trial. Functions that only exist in Microsoft 365 may not work in older Excel.
Google Sheets mode
Choose Google Sheets to also use Sheets functions such as QUERY, FILTER, ARRAYFORMULA and REGEXEXTRACT. Functions that pull data from other files or the web, such as IMPORTRANGE, IMPORTXML, IMAGE and GOOGLEFINANCE, are never put in the answer.
Check before you copy
Make sure the ranges in the example match your sheet, then paste the formula into a new cell or a copy of the file. Depending on your regional settings, Excel may expect semicolons instead of commas between arguments. This page does not run Excel for you.
Privacy and limits
Your input and result are not saved in browser storage or the address bar. Nothing is sent until you give consent and press the button. Changing or clearing the input cancels the request on this page, but it does not undo anything already sent. If the usage limit is reached or the connection fails, the fixed examples still work.
